Most visitors to Gran Canaria Island arrive from Europe or the UK by air at the Las Palmas Airport (Aeropuerto de Gran Canaria).  Others arrive by ferry.

A ferry service connects Cadiz in southern Spain with Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Many visitors to the Canary Islands enjoy island-hopping.  They can either catch flights between the islands or enjoy ferry boat ride between the islands.

The best way to see Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is to tour the city on an open-aired coach.  The Las Palmas double-decker bus visits all major attractions and allows guests to "hop-on" and "hop-off" as much as they like.
